Saving for college just got easier with the Citi® Upromise® Card. The rewards program helps cardholders to created a carefully managed college savings plan through cash back rewards accrued through using the card. On purchases made of over 7,000 grocery and drugstore items, users will get 10% back towards college savings. Additionally, gas purchases at Exxon and Mobil stations will earn 2% back and all other purchases will earn 1% back. There is a limit to the amount that can be earned through purchases at the 1% rate but no limit on those that earn at the higher rates. There is no annual fee, and for the first six months of use cardholders will be able to make transfers with no interest.
