Those who are frequent fliers and who have excellent credit will enjoy the rewards provided by this card. The reward program gives cardholders an extra benefit for spending on necessities at places like grocery stores, gas stations, drugstores and commuter transportation by awarding them two points for every dollar spent. All other purchases earn one reward point or mile per dollar. Points can be redeemed for rewards like flights on any airline, hotel stays, gift cards and much more. There is a maximum level to the amount of points that can be earned each year, and points will expire if the card is not used within a three year period. There is an annual fee for the card, but in addition to the rewards program, cardholders will get benefits like unlimited companion tickets, travel insurance and auto rental insurance.
