Citi® Driver's Edge® Card for College Students Review

College students who are working towards buying a new or used car during their schooling or shortly thereafter can work towards earning money for it with this Citibank-issued card. Cardholders will earn 3% cash back on purchases made at everyday locations like supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations, as well as 1% on all other purchases. Rebates are also given for miles driven with one cent per mile being earned. Students may rack up as much as $1,000 in rebates each year with a maximum limit of $5,000 over 5 years. Students can use the rebate cash to pay for a new car, for maintenance on an existing vehicle or converted into ThankYou points to be used for other rewards.
