Cardholders will simply put a prepaid amount on the card which can then be used to make purchases. A set amount can automatically be taken out of a cardholder’s check each month or individual deposits can be made towards the card. There are several fees associated with the card including a monthly fee and an activation fee. There are some additional benefits to the card, however, including a free bill pay service for seven bills a month and access to a credit builder service which will report your payment information to national crediting agencies.
